Cruise passengers: from the airport to your ship
Most large cruise ships dock at the Marseille Provence Cruise Terminal (MPCT), on the Môle Léon Gourret in the north of the port, about 6 km from the Old Port. Smaller ships sometimes berth closer to the city centre, near La Joliette.
- There is no direct public transport from the airport to the cruise terminal: you would need the shuttle bus to Saint-Charles station, then the metro and a bus.
- With Zzcar, the transfer takes about 25 minutes and starts at €45, luggage included.

Shuttle bus, train, taxi or private driver?
- Shuttle bus to Saint-Charles station: runs every 10 to 20 minutes and takes 30 to 50 minutes. The cheapest option if you travel light and stay near the station.
- Train: a free shuttle bus takes you to Vitrolles-Aéroport station, where regional trains run to Marseille and Aix. Good value, but with a change and your luggage.
- Taxi: available at the rank outside arrivals, with a metered fare that depends on traffic and the time of day.

Can I book a baby seat or a booster seat?
Yes. Add a baby seat (+€10) or a child seat (+€5) when booking. In France, children under 10 must travel in a child restraint suited to their size, including in a private hire car.
How do I pay?
You book and pay a deposit online; the remaining balance can be paid to your driver on board. Business travellers can tick “I am a professional” to receive an invoice with their company details.
